Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AddressShield's address validation platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AddressShield provides AI-assisted address cleaning, India Post PIN/Post-Office/District verification, duplicate and fraud-order detection, Shopify order synchronization, and related bulk and API-based address validation tools for eCommerce and logistics use cases.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits & Usage

Access to verification features is governed by a credit-based usage system. Credits are consumed per verified address and are non-transferable between accounts unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to bypass credit limits, submitting unlawfully obtained personal data for verification, reverse-engineering the platform, or using the Service to harass or defraud third parties.

6. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While AddressShield uses AI models and official India Post records to improve address accuracy, we do not guarantee 100% delivery success for every verified address. Verification results are provided to assist, not replace, your operational judgment.

7. Third-Party Integrations

Features such as Shopify sync and WhatsApp rescue rely on third-party platforms. Your use of those integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms and policies.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Limitation of Liability

AddressShield is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including delivery failures or RTO losses.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
